Nurse Practitioner Melissa Riddall Takes the Lead at UHHC’s Women’s Health Clinic
June 23rd, 2026Upper Hutt Health Centre is pleased to announce that experienced Nurse Practitioner Melissa Riddall has stepped into the role of lead clinician for our Women’s Health Clinic.
Melissa brings a genuine passion and special interest in women’s health, and is dedicated to providing personalised, compassionate care to women across all stages of life. Her focus is on empowering patients and supporting their holistic wellbeing, in line with the values that have always underpinned our Women’s Health Clinic.
About the Women’s Health Clinic
The clinic is a female-led service dedicated to addressing the unique healthcare needs of women at every stage of life, from adolescence to pregnancy, motherhood, and through to menopause and beyond. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, including:
• Menopausal support
• Contraception counselling and management (including Mirena and Jadelle insertions/removals)
• Menstrual health management
• Gynaecological concerns and pelvic health
• Prenatal care
• Pessary reviews and community investigations
Patients can access the clinic via self-referral or referral from a medical practitioner, and depending on individual circumstances, some procedures may be fully funded or partially subsidised.
