MBChB (University of Otago) and Certificate in Women’s Health (University of Otago)

Professional Background:

I grew up on a farm near Dannevirke, trained at University of Otago medical school, completed my house officer (junior doctor) years at Hastings Hospital in Hawkes Bay. I then moved to Wellington for a position as a palliative care registrar at Mary Potter Hospice before starting my GP training here. UHHC was my first placement as a GP registrar and I came back here as soon as I could!

Clinical Interests:

Gender affirming healthcare, LGBTQIA+ health, Women’s health and Minor procedures (minor ops, steroid injections).

Hobbies:

When not at work you can find me out running, in the water SCUBA diving, hanging out with my partner and our cats, or curled up with a good book. If you see me at Parkrun, come and say hello!
