UHHC
Upper Hutt Health Centre is a large teaching practice with an enrolled population of 17,000 patients, providing a wide
range of services, including acute services, minor operations and nurse-led clinics, eg Diabetes and LTC Long Term Conditions.  We provide an after hours service every week day evening, weekends and public holidays and we are open every day.
   
As an integrated family health centre, we have numerous providers on site, including radiology, podiatry, audiology and pharmacy.

We are a Cornerstone accredited practice as awarded by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.

Upper Hutt Health Centre is a training practice for GP registrars. A GP registrar is a qualified doctor who spends time at the health centre in order to gain general practice experience under supervision from of our very experienced doctors. A regular cohort of medical and nursing students also come to the health centre for clinical training and experience.
